My motor won't connect to my Brain. Please help

Hello,
I am having problems connecting one of my Smart Motors to my Robot Brain. No matter which port I plug the motor into, or which cable I use, the motor shows up neither in VEXos or in the Device Info screen on the Brain. I have firmware version 2.0.1.

Sounds like you have a bad motor. That can happen. Try plugging it into port 1, unplug everything else, and then run VEXos again. The port 1 trick used to magically bring back some motors from the dead, but I'm not sure if it helps at all with new versions.

As jrp said, sounds like a bad motor. If his suggestion didn't work, contact VEX support.
