    2015-16 Season Ending!
It's hard to believe that the 2015-16 Bank Shot and Nothing But Net
seasons are nearing a close! The REC Foundation is grateful to all
the teams that participated this year and we wish everyone a
fun-filled close to the season as you attend your final events, state
and regional events, and some of you prepare to join us at VEX
    Worlds.

    VEX Worlds!
VEX Worlds is quickly approaching and new information is added weekly
to help teams prepare for the trip to Louisville, Kentucky, April
20-23. Be sure to visit the hotel booking site - http://groups.reservetravel.com/group.aspx?id=17120 for a great selection of accommodations and discounted rates! The
2016 VEX Worlds site - http://www.gotolouisville.com/vex that features
details about our host city and the surrounding area is another
excellent resource with tips for visitors new to Louisville. Once
again, the REC Foundation will host a team party at Kentucky Kingdom,
a fabulous amusement park just steps from VEX Worlds. To purchase
discounted tickets visit: 2016 VEX Worlds Team Party - https://www.robotevents.com/tkt-party-2016.html .
In advance of VEX Worlds teams are invited to check out our new
    online apparel store - http://store.finedesigns.com/w/vy/vex.html .

Finally, VEX Worlds would not be what it is without our passionate
group of volunteers! That means we need YOUR help. If you are
bringing additional parents, teachers, students or anyone else, they
can help make this event a success by becoming a Volunteer. It's a
great way to be a "part of the action" while supporting their team
    that's competing. Learn more today - http://www.roboticseducation.org/vex...ds-volunteers/

    VEX Robotics Alumni Community!
The REC Foundation welcomes all past VEX Robotics participants to
join the VEX Robotics Alumni Community for valuable networking,
internships, career, and volunteer opportunities! It's a great way to
stay involved in the robotics community and gain critical information
to further your education and career. To learn more and join the
    program, please visit: www.RoboticsEducation.org/Alumni - http://www.roboticseducation.org/alumni

    Get Social!
With a large number of VEX IQ Challenge, VEX Robotics Competition,
and VEX U events taking place each weekend, we welcome teams to share
news of their experience this season. Please be sure to follow the
REC Foundation on Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/RECFoundation/ , Twitter

    REC Foundation Industry Certifications!
The REC Foundation is pleased to provide two industry certifications
for schools, students in engineering related programs, and robotics
clubs. Students are expected to have at least 150 hours of
pre-engineering or robotics classroom experience. Each certification
is broken into several modules and certain modules are required, but
students are not limited to how many they take. Students earn both
certifications when completing Robotics as those requirements exceed
Pre-Engineering. To learn more, please visit: Industry Certifications
    - http://www.roboticseducation.org/for...certification/

    Sponsor Spotlight: Northrop Grumman Foundation
For the 4th consecutive year, the Northrop Grumman Foundation is
pleased to present the VEX Robotics Competition and VEX Worlds.
Northrop Grumman supports the VEX Robotics Competition because of its
exciting games that inspire, motivate, and prepare students for a
future in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics
education. In addition to their support of VEX Worlds, Northrop
Grumman makes it possible for new VRC teams around the world to
participate. As part of their outreach and commitment to education,
Northrop Grumman has some great STEM resources for teachers - http://www.northropgrumman.com/Corpo...rTeachers.aspx , students - http://www.northropgrumman.com/Corpo...rStudents.aspx , and families - http://www.northropgrumman.com/Corpo...rFamilies.aspx to use at home and in the classroom. Not Getting These E-mails?
Many organizations automatically block group e-mails. You have two
    options:
    1) Request that your IT department "White List" emails from
mail.vresp.comand/or white list e-mails from the following IP
    addresses: 74.116.89.0/24 74.116.91.0/24 66.151.143.0/24
    2) Make sure the alternate email address in your robotevents.com -- http://robotevents.com/ team account is different
    -- not a school address.
