  • March 2018 Team Update

    Regional & State Championships

The 2017-18 season is quickly wrapping up with many regional and state championship events either just taking place or coming soon. Please share news of your exciting VEX IQ Challenge and VEX Robotics Competition events with us on social media and tag the REC Foundation in your post!

Also, please remember to check the team grade level of your registrants. You may have assigned a team grade level earlier in the season, but it's important to verify that the team grade level entered matches their current status. Please be sure to verify that all team information entered into RobotEvents.com is correct prior to State/Regional Championships and VEX Worlds in April!

    2018 VEX Robotics World Championship

The VEX Robotics World Championship is taking place April 25 - May 1 in Louisville, Kentucky! The daily team agendas, hotel booking site, Louisville attraction site, and much more are available to help you plan your visit at VEXworlds.com.

    Competition Readiness Checklist

Final State and Regional Tournament Events are here! Be sure your team is ready to go by asking yourself and your team the following questions:
    • Is your VEXnet key properly inserted so it won't come out of the socket?
    • Is your 7.2 Volt battery fully charged before going on the field?
    • Are your joystick batteries fully charged?
    • Do you have a fresh, fully charged 9V backup battery?
    • Have you checked that you have not accidentally broken the socket on your joystick?
