Playing mock matches to learn the new game.

Had fun introducing the new game to the team. As a way of learning the game and thinking about strategies we had practice matches on a mock field. The kids took turns pretending to be the robot while using kitchen utensils instead of their hands to move the cubes. We even had two person teams and switched 'drivers' after 30 seconds. It quickly became obvious that picking up and moving one cube at a time wasn't going to be a winning strategy.

Summer vacations are over, time to start working on the robots. I liked the idea. I'll give it a try.
